Red Nose Day 2011
We did something funny for money on Red Nose Day 2011 and collectively raised over £500 for Comic Relief!
Martyn, David, Andy and Lucy donned their aprons and manned the kitchens for our VIP tea service, raising almost £200 and many smiles along the way. The teams here at LSL CCD like to get involved with raising money for charity and the management team were thrilled that so many contributed amazing cakes and sweet treats for Martyn's cake trolley.

We also brightened the Exeter skyline by releasing 300 balloons in our charity Red Nose Day balloon race. The balloon that travelled the furthest was found in a paddock near Barnstaple and won its owner a bottle of champagne. An unscheduled gust of wind forced some of the balloons into a tree as they were being released and this small hiccup gave the many watching a big laugh. Well, it was all about doing something funny for money after all.
